My name is Ty Pippins, owner and founder of Beauty & Beasty Essentials (BBE Hair Salon/BBE Naturals). Inspired by my mother, who was also an entrepreneur and hairstylist, I learned the value of independence, passion, and creating opportunity. Growing up, steady work wasn’t always available in my community, and I wanted to build something that allowed me to not only control my own income but also give others a path to do the same.
Through BBE, I’ve combined my love for natural hair with my mission to serve the community. I regularly host free loc classes, holiday food drives, back-to-school backpack giveaways, and events that support single fathers with hair-care education. My vision is to use my platform to teach, inspire, and empower others to turn their passions into sustainable businesses, becoming leaders in their own right while giving back to the community.

This dual foundation enables her to transform hair into resilient, living art through precision starter locs, tension-free retwists, and groundbreaking repair techniques engineered for Arizona's harsh environment - all honed through 500+ hours of specialized training in scalp science and desert climate adaptation.

My inspiration for entrepreneurship comes from my mother, who was also an entrepreneur. Growing up, I watched her style hair and manage salons while creating freedom and stability for her family. As a teen, I struggled to find steady work in a community with limited opportunities, and when jobs were available, my livelihood depended entirely on company needs.
I decided to create a business based on my passion for hair—one that allows me to control my own income and schedule while serving as a resource for my community. Through BBE Salon, I provide quality natural hair care and teach others the path to entrepreneurship, giving them the tools to build sustainable businesses of their own.
