Who's Ms.Ty

I'm Ty Pippins, The Master Loctician owner and founder of The Loc Loft .

Inspired by my mother, who was also an entrepreneur and hairstylist.

I learned the value of independence, passion, and creating opportunity.

Growing up, steady work wasn’t always available in my community, and I wanted to build something that allowed me to not only control my own income but also give others a path to do the same.

Through the Loc Loft, I’ve combined my love for natural hair with my mission to serve the community. I regularly host free loc classes, holiday food drives, back-to-school backpack giveaways, and events that support single fathers with hair-care education. My vision is to use my platform to teach, inspire, and empower others to turn their passions into sustainable businesses, becoming leaders in their own right while giving back to the community.
